Malpractice Statement
The Journal of Content Validation is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in publishing. We adhere to strict guidelines to prevent any form of misconduct in the academic publishing process. This includes ensuring the integrity of all submissions, peer reviews, and published content. We take allegations of research and publication malpractice seriously and have implemented procedures to address any unethical behavior.
1. Plagiarism
We have a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism. All submissions must be original and properly cite any sources or ideas that are not the author's own. Submissions found to contain plagiarized material, whether in the form of text, data, or images, will be immediately rejected. Authors must ensure that their work does not infringe upon the copyright or intellectual property of others.
2. Data Fabrication and Falsification
We do not tolerate data fabrication or falsification. All research findings published in the Journal of Content Validation must be supported by accurate, verifiable data. Authors are expected to submit genuine, honest results from their research. Any attempt to manipulate or falsify data to mislead readers or reviewers will lead to immediate retraction of the article and possible banning of the author from submitting future work.
3. Conflict of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence their work, whether financial, personal, or professional. This includes funding sources, relationships with commercial entities, or any other affiliations that could bias the research or review process. Failure to disclose such conflicts will result in the rejection or retraction of the article.
4. Author Contribution and Authorship
Only individuals who have made significant contributions to the research should be listed as authors. All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to be held accountable for the content. Any disputes regarding authorship should be resolved prior to submission. The Journal of Content Validation follows guidelines set forth by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) for authorship.
5. Duplicate Submission and Redundant Publication
We do not accept manuscripts that have been previously published or simultaneously submitted to other journals. Authors should ensure that their submission is unique and not under review elsewhere. If duplicate publication is discovered after submission or publication, the article will be retracted, and the author will be banned from submitting future work.
6. Peer Review Integrity
We are committed to a transparent and unbiased peer-review process. Reviewers must assess articles solely on the basis of scientific merit, without bias or discrimination. Authors should not attempt to influence the peer review process through unethical means, including attempting to identify or contact reviewers. Any breach of the peer-review process or manipulation of the review system will be considered serious misconduct.
7. Retraction Policy
If a serious ethical issue is identified in a published article, such as falsified data or plagiarism, the Journal of Content Validation will promptly investigate the matter. If the issue is confirmed, the article will be retracted, and a notice of retraction will be issued to inform readers of the retraction. In cases of disputes over allegations of malpractice, the journal will work with the involved parties to resolve the issue, ensuring fairness and transparency.
8. Complaints and Reporting Misconduct
If a reader, author, or reviewer suspects that any form of research or publication malpractice has occurred, they are encouraged to report their concerns to the journal's editorial team. The Journal of Content Validation will review all allegations thoroughly and take appropriate action, including contacting relevant institutions or taking legal steps if necessary.
