Author Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in submitting your manuscript to the Journal of Content Validation. Please follow the guidelines outlined below to ensure that your submission meets our standards for review and publication.

1. Language

All manuscripts must be submitted in English. If you wish to publish in a language other than English (Malay, for example), you must provide a note explaining the required documents for submission in that language.

2. Length of Paper

Manuscripts should not exceed 25 pages. Papers exceeding this limit will be returned for revision. Manuscripts must be typed in single space font size 12 in Microsoft word format include references in APA format.

3. Title Page

Your manuscript should include a title page with the following details:

  • Publication Title: The title should be concise and informative, avoiding abbreviations and formulas where possible.
  • Author Names and Affiliations: Clearly indicate each author’s full name and their corresponding affiliations. Include the full postal address and email.
  • Corresponding Author: Specify the author who will handle correspondence, with phone numbers, email, and postal address.
  • Sponsoring Information: If applicable, provide details about any funding or sponsorship for your research.

4. Abstract

Provide a concise and factual abstract, not exceeding 250 words. The abstract should summarize the research’s purpose, key findings, and major conclusions. Avoid citations in the abstract unless absolutely necessary.

5. Keywords

Following the abstract, include a maximum of 8 keywords. Do not use general terms or multiple concepts (e.g., avoid using “and” or “of”).

6. Subdivision of the Article

Articles should be divided into clearly numbered sections. Example:

    1. Introduction
    1. Methodology
    • 2.1. Sample Size
    • 2.2. Analysis

The abstract should not be included in section numbering.

7. Tables and Figures

Place tables and figures at the end of the article or inline with the text. Note that the journal publishes in black and white, so ensure clarity in your visuals.

8. References

Use the APA style for citations and references. Ensure all cited references are listed in the reference section and vice versa. Unpublished results or personal communications should not be listed as references but may be cited in the text.

  • Journal: Van der Geer, J., et al. (2000). The art of writing a scientific article. Journal of Scientific Communications, 163, 51-59.
  • Book: Strunk, W., & White, E. B. (1979). The elements of style (3rd ed.). New York: Macmillan.

9. Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting, ensure that:

  1. The manuscript is original and has not been submitted or published elsewhere.
  2. The submission is in MS Word file format.
  3. The manuscript follows the journal's guidelines.
  4. The author's name and affiliation are not included in the main manuscript text.
  5. You have read and understood the journal’s submission guidelines.
